16th Annual
BILLD Program
July 9-13, 2010
Fluno Center of Executive Education
Madison, Wisconsin
Application available in December
Each
year, a select group of Midwestern lawmakers gather in Madison,
Wisconsin, for five days of intense leadership and professional
development training.
The program agenda consists of leadership
training, skills development and policy workshops. The program
is highly interactive and offers a unique opportunity for legislators
to share ideas and learn from one another.
The 16th annual Bowhay Institute will be held July 9-13, 2010.
In addition to seminars geared to the development of core leadership
skills, the agenda includes policy workshops on some of the most
pressing issues facing state legislators, such as budgeting in tough
fiscal times, developing an energy economy and health care. Fellows
also will participate in a series of
professional development sessions, including time and priority
management and communicating with the media.
