Midwestern
Legislative Conference
Committees
During the 2007-2008 biennium, the Midwestern Legislative
Conference policy committees are focusing
on agriculture and natural resources, economic development, energy, health and human
services, and Midwest-Canada relations. Lawmakers serving on these
committees work together to address regional policy concerns.
These interstate policy development groups provide valuable
opportunities for the sharing of information and exchange of ideas
among policymakers in the Midwest. The groups work to identify
multistate and regional solutions to some of today's most complex
problems.
